I am aware the site has been slow for the better part of a month. This morning, I finally took the time to look at the host on which my hosting partner (1and1.com) stores the site. User CPU utilization is at almost 90%, and system CPU utilization is at 10%, with a load average of 150!
None of this is caused by any of the processes to which I have visibility, but it is obviously impactful.
1and1 is running 50 sites on a single socket four core server (I can’t tell if it is virtualized).
Again, apologies for the slowness! I am trying to work with them, and short of that, will be moving to a new hosting company.
